From a very young age, I wanted to be an artist. From the snake pictures I would draw for my patient teacher in kindergarten, to the cartoon created for my friend’s  book report cover, to being the resident artist for my high school homeroom, making people happy with my creativity was what I wanted to do. In 1984, I received my BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design, majoring in illustration and design. After that, I focused on art direction and design, and worked for over 30+ years as a creative in the advertising field. During this time, I fell in love with photography as another way to express myself. Portrait photography is now my full-time passion and pursuit.
